ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Vicky.

I worked as a production assistant manager in the film industry for 8 years. Four years of that I was in a production company and learned everything from scratch. Then I started as a freelance and did many commercial and feature film projects.

I loved my job very much, but unfortunately I couldn't combine my work with my other passions, because films take up most of my time.

Hello, I'm Vicky.

I worked as a production assistant manager in the film industry for 8 years. Four years of that I was in a production company and learned everything from scratch. Then I started as a freelance and did many commercial and feature film projects.

I love nature, music, art and I'm very curious about new technologies. That's why I spent some time learning Python, and that led me to a programming bootcamp for a DevOps position.

I worked at a bank for 4 months, but that wasn't colorful enough for me, so I started a UX /UI Designer bootcamp at Neoland School.

Now I feel like this is my path and I can express all my creativity in a dream job like design is.

What I have learned

through the years and jobs

People

With a simple smile and good humour you can win much more.

I don't want to work to pay bills, but because I love doing what I do with passion and joy.

I think that over the years I've met many people with all kinds of professions who have shown me that.

People are my teachers and I don't want to stop learning.

If you fail, try again

It was very difficult for me to learn my profession when I started working for the production company. I remember sitting in the office for hours and getting very little sleep.

It was a very stressful period of my life, but I also remember that I learned the most during that time.

I made a lot of mistakes since it was one of my first jobs and I didn't know anything about the film industry, but all those mistakes made me be consciously professional and keep an eye on the details.

Leading by working hard

My team was formed by people who became my friends over time.

I learned from my boss, who is now my friend, that you can not lead a team without working harder than any of them.

They need to see you giving your all to inspire them to do the same.

As a leader, you have the responsibility to take care of, teach, support and inspire your team.
